Electrician Apprentice

We are proud to offer professional repair, maintenance and installation electrical services across all areas of Northamptonshire including Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Towcester and Daventry. With almost 15 years of experience in the electrical trade, EES Northants are a local, family run business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
  • Learn to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
  • Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Support the installation of cables, wiring systems, and electrical fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Observe and practice safe working procedures, following health and safety regulations.
  • Help conduct routine testing and fault-finding on electrical systems and components.
  • Document work progress and maintain accurate records of tasks and completed projects.
  • Attend and actively participate in training sessions and college classes as part of the apprenticeship.
  • Develop knowledge of industry regulations.
  • Attend college or training sessions as required to complete the formal apprenticeship framework.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full UK driving license desirable.
